I Can only suggest you start very gentle, just say hi and talk for a short time about any general topic. Then just build on it day by day.

Girls always like a good joke! It is always good to start as friends. I find you last longer together and you know stuff about them already! Also don’t be getting too serious - try keep it light and fun! no need to be serious and she might run. Goodness do I miss those fun relationships!
