Sweetcorn, corn can not be digested by the body hence the reason why you ’see it’ when you go to the bathroom, it would not turn things any colour as it is not digested but whole.

The reason it is brown is because it is dead blood cells, things that can not be digested and any other waste matter.

Sometimes it will change colour and usually it is an indication of diet and illness.

If this continues for more that 48 hours then consult your doctor as it could be something that needs to be treated.

Then see if you are still the same in another day, if it is still different then go to the doctors as it could be anything.

Sometimes it turns black when you have too much iron, yellow when you are ill, green could be a stomach upset, who knows?

All I know is that ‘corn’ will not turn it any colour as it is not digested.

If it is something different and your stomach is sensitive it could be your body trying to flush it out.

Dr pepper is not like normal cola, it is a fruit based pop, maybe.

Tomorrow just drink water, lay of any high fatty foods and see what happens, try high in fibre foods, they keep you ‘regular’, if it is not normal after tomorrow, then see a doctor.

Iron turns poop green. I can testify to this because I take Iron tablets and I know I’ve been taking too much iron when it turns green. It means that your producing the excess iron as waste rather than taking it all in. Please note that too much iron in your body is a bad thing, as it’s called iron poisoning.

I don’t know where your getting this info but I know for certain that taking in too much iron can result in green poop. It happens to me all too often.

Well… My bottle doesn’t say anything lol. So I can’t argue any further than I already have.

You should get a little leaflet inside the box that the bottle came in that tells you things like what to do if you take too many, allergic reactions, phone numbers of medical places and also some side effects, in the side effects it lists a few things and one is discolouration of stools to a dark colour and suggests that if it goes black for more than 48 hours to re consult with your doctor.

But anyhow, as I said earlier, corn can not be digested by the body, if something is not digested then it can not have any effect on the body, poo n all ;)
