Is being an Atheist naive?

If all religious text in the whole world, were false, and all the types of God(s) in these text were just man-made (so the Christian God or Islamic God do not exist), that still does not disprove that there could be some sort of God.

If religion was never able to take a footing on earth, and perhaps most of humanity was atheist…..that still would not prove for 100% that there is no God.

In a way, it’s kinda like how there could, or could not be Aliens…..and the possibiliy of Aliens existing, regardless of what humanity thinks.

For example, if no one on Earth believed in aliens, or perhaps Earth and therefore Man, never came to be. That does not mean that there is no other life in the galaxy, even though the terms “Alien” or “ET” would not exist if we did not exist.

What im trying to say is that the idea of God, goes beyond religion, and if Mankind never existed, and therefore it’s religions, or if all the religions were false, that does not cause the possibility of there being a God to become invalid.

So wouldn’t being an Agnostic make more sense?

i think its best to just be open minded to any possibilities and not use labels or words to add identity to who you are.

As you are a Bible basher, this post is a TROLL POST.

Yes, if you are choosing it due to lack of knowledge and only based on what others with similar lack of knowledge are telling you.

If on the other hand you have read the Bible and the Koran and all other religious tomes cover to cover and then choose to become an Atheist based on those facts than you may.

Most Aithiests don’t say “I believe 100% that no god exists”. They auctualy believe that a god most likely does not exist.
We accept and understand that’s it is completely plausible and possible, but saying god exists doesn’t make the universe make anymore sense than it does already. In fact, it auctualy complicates things quite a bit. So Occam’s razor, god probably doesn’t exist.
