Kindle is an eBook reader only!
The screen on the Amazon Kindle naturally can’t play any kind of videos, including flash videos.
Get a laptop for that!

You are right, sorry, indeed the FIRE version is able to play flash.

You will have to enable the flash player in the kindle FIRE browser settings. The automatic update turned flash player off. Go to settings (the settings that are at the bottom of your screen, next to the bookmarks tab), scroll down until you see the flash setting, select it and then select always on or on demand. It should work after that.

thanks zirbel. I was about to root my fire to make it happen, cause I can watch stuff on my android phone, that I couldn’t on my fire. Saved me the hassle.

I have no problem with this thing now…

You need to download the following to your pc and sideload to your kindle fire hd: flash player 11.1.115.20 from http;//d-h.****/JXC; updated Dolphin browser HD 8.5.1 APK from http://d-h.****/3ZS (this supports flash player). If you wish to use the itv player, channel 4 and 5 od then find air.itvmobileplayer-1.APK on Google, sideload and install. All this really needs to be executed using es file manager or similar - then loading all of the above into your downloads folder. Then install one by one - dolphin update last. You should make Dolphin your default browser since silk does not support flash.

I see the flash player for kindlefire hd but it denies the ability to check and turn on. Is there a way to re enable it to turn it on?
