Is it even possible to have a therapist to talk to online for free?

I have been really messed up for years and years and i always wind up talking to friends and they are starting to run out of things to say to me to help. I cant get myself out of the house to go places by myself, i still never had a job in my life, still dont know what to do with my love for some girl, i have bad anxiety and depression and i feel like im broken and i lost any sense of feeling alive. I have not had any single way to see a therapist, ive been harassed by people here enough to see one so dont harass me about it :( I for one am living with my overprotective mom and my sister and her and my dad guilt trip me constantly whenever i even mention wanting to leave here. I am afraid to go out places and i dont have a driverse liscense so not like i can anyways. I can not have a therapist with my parents knowing because of how badly it would make how they treat me even worse like im fully incapable of doing anything and i cant sneak out to have one because i never leave the house so it would be obvious if i did leave.

I would think that, aside from general help, that an ‘online’ therapist would be severely hampered when trying to help somebody. There isn’t much nuance to be had via text vs. in-person communication. It would also be a rather tedious process, ‘Course, I could very well be wrong, but that’s my $0.02.

There are online therapies — but unfortunately not for free.
How old are you?

There is many anonymous hotlines you can call & talk to someone ! Also you can go online to find a therapist in your area, or maybe even talking to a social worker/therapist at your school.
