hpzstub.exe is in my startup folder.

when i look using google there seem to be two classes of answers: it is a HP Installer file OR it is a virus and here’s the steps (or product) to remove it. I’m fraid to go through the links.

Do you have an HP printer?

Most of those sites that pop up talking about viruses are scams to sell product… but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a good file, just that they somehow get the top spots in searches.
