computer help: When I google things, I can’t put those pages in new tabs. - Help.com

When I google things, I can’t put those pages in new tabs.

I use to be able to. I could google a word, then grab a bunch of different websites including youtube and they’d load right away. I don’t know what happen, but now my new tabs half load. Which means that they just act like they’re loading, then stop and leave a blank page. It makes no sense. If I turn the cookies on, it works fine, but I never accept cookies and I’ve never had that problem. What is wrong with my computer???

It’s really easy. All you do is google something, find the result and then click on it with holding down control.

For example, if you google kagshop.com, find it in the results, click on kagshop.com while holding down control.

I don’t think the multiple pages was the issue lol, besides it’s easier than that to do, just click the middle mouse button on the link to have it a new tab.

As for your actual problem, you may need to clean up your computer, it may just be too clogged to operate well. Try running Disk Cleanup in the “start menu>all programs>accessories>system tools” directory. Then just select pretty much everything you see worth cleaning up, and let it run.

Aside from that, if it is still a problem then I’d reset all the browsers settings to default and manually disable whatever you want. Something may have turned back on by itself if there was an update done to the computer.
