I just got rejected from the school of my dreams, and logging into facebook there’s a lot of statuses from people who got accepted.

At least half of them are people that either told me explicitly that they weren’t applying because they don’t like the school, or that it was a back up in case they didn’t get into Ivy. I’m in kind of a bad place, just wanted to rant. Thank you.

Rejection is just a part of life. It’s how you handle it that defines who you are. Take it in stride and apply to more places.

i second that. sometimes the school of your dreams isn’t really the best place for you. your education is what you make of it, so keep working hard.
