can a primary school teacher become an astronaut?

i know it sounds really odd but i want to be a primary school teacher but i also really want to be an astronaut! is there any way that a primary school degree will help me become an astronaut?

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Let’s hope with the Op it will end better. Anyway there are so many more opportunities to go into space these days so who knows?

The chance of anyone being an astronaught is about one in a million(literaly)
300 astronaughts and 300milion people.
Chance of being a teacher about 1 in 1000.
