Just this morning my parents told us that the IRS is trying to get alot of money out of us that could potentially hurt us and our buisness.

Bank Rupsey was mentioned as well. The money was calculated to about over 100,120 bucks and I really need a job so that they can’t just come in our home and start selling our stuff. ..Look, I know how the economy is right now and that everybodys going through a tough time but if anyone could help us, I will be very greatful. I love my home and all the stuff we have… and my dad already works so hard and is hardly ever home. But this is too much for him and us and I am desperatly trying to help him as best as I can. He should be retired by now! …I am 17 years old and I believe in Jesus Christ as my Savior and he has brought us through tough situations many times, and I’m not just going to do nothing and expect different results. If anyone has information for me, thank you so much…

Your parents need to talk to a tax lawyer. Many times you can go to tax court and the IRS will settle for pennies on the dollar. If you don’t have an attorney, however, the IRS will bully you.

Lawyers can also arrange for payments back to the government. The IRS, of course, wants all their money all at once, so their agent looks good.

A tax lawyer will be like your family’s own bodyguard!

Then your parents should have saved some of his wages for taxes.
And if you believe God will help you then you will all end up in prison.

God does hear and answer prayers. Yes, we have to do our own part, but God is there for the part we cannot do by ourselves.

Anon–why don’t you take your message of despair and hopelessness and peddle it somewhere else? This young person came here for help and hope–not your own personal philosophy of “too bad, so sad.”

I am not the one peddling despair and hopelessness. All I said was God will not pay your bills.

If you’re an atheist, fine. But–this is all I’m going to say on this subject–but when a professed Christian is asking for help and guidance, it’s not the time to transform the request for help into a debate about religion.

Bluekittyclaw–don’t worry and ask your parents to get a tax lawyer. Continue to pray, and always know that God did not bring all of you this far to just abandon you!
