I told a close friend that I had a huge crush on this guy(a friend of ours).

She started flirting with him constantly, we started having issues so we eventually stopped being friends. She was very angry with me and told him I liked him and I dont know what else. He now doesnt speak to me…its so awkward being around him and theres this tension because we were so close before. Should I talk to him and ask him what his problem is? or leave it and move on?

Your friend probably talked trash about you to the guy, because she wanted him for herself.

I have noticed that women will become enemies when they are competing for a man, but men typically stay friends when they are competing for a woman!

Depends on what you hope to accomplish. He is obviously only hearing HER (your ex-friend’s) side opf the story and hence won’t speak to you/ tension in the air.

You have the option of *trying* to explain whats going on to him or leave it (IS HE REALLY WORTH YOUR TIME IF HE IS SO EASILY LEAD?; There are plenty of other fish in the sea…)

Entirely your decision. But DO choose - else you might regret it.
