state help: I have a philosophy paper due tuesday and I need some help. - Help.com

I have a philosophy paper due tuesday and I need some help.

I am no good at philopsophy but I think I’m getting the just of it. Anyway, in the paper I have to state my opinion and whether I agree or disagree. How do I come up with my own thoughts without just simply fully disagreeing or agreeing with philosphers’ theories?

philosophy is something you have to do on your own. you could ask for others opinions and why, but they wouldnt be yours.

It’s not that I want everyone’s opinions. I know I have to provide my own. I just want to know if there’s a way to help me formulate an opinion that would be different than that of philosophers.

Have you decided what opinion you want to defend? We can give you ideas if you haven’t.

How about building off of George Carlin’s bit about entropy. The double-edged sword of human intellect and technological advancement. When the economy collapses and the dollar becomes worthless, we will know depression, and our last hope is an all out war vs. China, Russia, and middle east unfriendlies. You think the U.S., Europe, and other allies stand a chance against them? But things could stabilize. Good luck with the paper.

put forward the philosophers view and then analyse it, decide whether or not you agree and then provide evidence for your view, you can use other philosophers ideas to strengthen your viewpoint but only as support, so as to keep it as your own. Come up with examples and a few points from your head and develop your argument with them….

I finally have a position. I dont fully with a philosopher, but in order to state that I think he’s partially wrong would I have to provide a hypothetical situation to prove my opinion in a philosophy paper?

State his argument and what it proposes, say what you agree with and why, then talk about what is wrong with it and what you would propose as an altenative
