I keep getting blue screens.

Help?
So about 4 months ago I got this HP laptop. I heard recently after I had purchased it that it had the highest malfunction rates. Actually the first 2 days after I had gotten it, I got a blue screen, but it hasn’t happened again until now, where today I have gotten 4 in total. Every time I seem to close the lid, and open it back up when I want to go on it, I open up to a blue screen. Why is this happening, can I fix this?
