At the first sentance, I would have said “let it go”. Lots of people lie about things that, in the long run, don’t matter. His education, if you’re into each other, really isn’t going to make a big difference in life.

However, after the second sentance you got me worried. See, you reacted to finding out he lied by not talking to him for a bit — perfectly reasonable. So what does he do when HE’S in the wrong? He turns around and starts bad mouthing you? How is that right or fair! That would be a warning sign to you.

Unless you meant he started divulging other personal things about himself to you that he had … washed over … previously. If that’s the case, consider this a good thing — your better off knowing him before marrying than after.

He doesn’t sound like much of a catch.
