anymore help: My Stepbrother Got arrested for marijuana distribution and i want to write him a letter but i dont know what to say. - Help.com

Reverse the situation; put yourself on the inside and your younger brother is on the outside. What would you want to hear from him?

No big deal! Lots of people use Marijuana.I used to. I read somewhere that 45% of all americans are for it. A while back. Just write him a normal letter. Be cool about it. Normal. Don`t act all different. It`s not like the goverment is right in its ways. I believe this will all be changed after some years(like Al Capone and the whole alcohol standpoint. It`s natural so nothing wrong with that. I also got arrested for selling when I was 21 or so. I thought it was the biggest deal ever and so scared then, but looking back now it was just a little bump. I quit hasj completely and have found so much joy in being clear minded. My advice don`t look at it as a bad thing or some big deal and write or call him and talk about normal things. No big deal! :)

I’d kind of like for you to say, “My stepbrother is a moron who could probably benefit by 25 years of hard labor . . . “

In your letter say that your brother obviously just took a wrong turn somewhere, because he was an exemplary kid growing up and was always there for you. Ask that the court be lenient with him, as he just made this one mistake and he now just wants a chance to redeem himself, yada yada yada . . .

I think the war on drugs is stupid. I don’t do drugs, but I think the so-called “war” is worse than the drugs themselves.

when writing someone….i like to start with the end in mind…

so what do you want to happen?
-do you want him to know you are thinking of him?
-or something else?

how about writing him to say I was thinking about you and thought you might like a letter…then talk to him like you would if you were talking to him in person…tell him about things & people you both know.
