If I just got my nails done, can I wash my hair?

I went with my sister to a salon yesterday and got my nails painted for the first time. I’ve been washing my hands like normal, but I want to know if I can wash my hair with this stuff on my hands. I would’ve asked the lady who was doing my nails, but she didn’t speak English. So, would shampoo make it fade? And also, how long does this stuff last? I feel really dumb for asking. Why am I so un-girly???? Is it normal to not know these things?

Shampoo probably wont affect it. Honestly it just depends on how good of a job they did. Its ok to not know this stuff, a lot of people don’t actually think of it so it’s kind of interesting to see someone who did.
