Starting a relationship?
So…I was recently with a girl for about 2-1/2 years. Things were really good but in the end I just decided that it would be the best for both of us to end it. We go to different schools and the distance was just starting to grow on both of us. The break-up was hard, but we are both ok and are going to try and remain friends after some time passes. I really want to try and be single for a while now, not so that I can mess around or anything, but so that I can have time to myself and out of a commitment. (Im 20) I’ve set myself a goal to stay single at least untill the winter when I get back from traveling abroad, but there’s a problem. I’ve recently become really good friends with this girl and we’ve spent a ton of time together, talking, hanging out, watching movies…ect. I really love hanging out with her and I think I’m starting to like her more than just a friend, but I don’t want to get into a relationship right now. I’m also worried that if I tell her how I feel about her she will be sad/upset that I don’t want to start a relationship. Then there is always the chance that she wont feel the same way about me…haha a lot to think about I suppose, but anyway I feel like writing all this out is a good way to clear my thoughts. So, if there is anyone who might have some useful advice or help I would greatly appreciate it, but it’s certainly not necessary. (Im not gonna go cry about this, life goes on) haha :) thanks for reading!
