A man must maintain respect and consideration for his girl at all times. Sure, we like to call our gals by pet names and nicknames, but the fact is, the women in our lives have real names. And when we forget that, it’s a sign we have lost respect.

i love that you just called her an old shoe. tsk… Big Al sure knows how to treat a lady… ;P joookes but yeah it’s probably a catchy name that he’s gotten used to. a term of endearment.

He might not know how you feel about it. When people use my name, I recognize it but my eyes glaze over and I don’t talk to them as much, it’s like they called me an alien. Maybe I’ll tell people that someday.

Its a good thing really but if you don’t like your nickname, just tell him- nicely.

it’s usually a sign of affection. many couples have nicknames for each other. :)
