Don’t blame pot on your lack of concentration. It can have that side effect, but the fact that you say you were a space cadet before would indicate that you have a problem concentrating and being in the present moment.

Are you just not interested in whats going on around you?

well it’s like no matter how hard i try to accomplish stuff you can bet it will be mediocre at best. there have been things i even really wanted to work or not fail but it’s like i’m some kind of self defeatist or something. i know it’s not pot(though it may not be making it better…) because i was this way since a kid. teachers gave up on me lol no one knows what it is

I know this sounds like a cliche notion - but you really have to just keep trying. That’s was separates success and failure. Determination. It’s a cliche for a reaosn

read a book on meditation or “the power of now”…it will give you a better understanding on how to live in the present moment and not wander around with your head in a cloud…its a distracting world we live in

if your 30, why are you still thinking about teachers that gave up on you??? thats in the past. the moment has passed and the future isnt here, all you have is here and now and the choices you make.

I am very forgetful, and very young. I never did many drugs. I just have had a bad memory for as long as I can remember. I work with it. i write lists, I keep many journals, I tell people I meet that they are going to have to be patient with me.
