Matthijs has a refreshing wisdom there, but the punk rock would probably gunk up your brain and you’d have to clean it out with something like this clean and joyous streaming classical music - http://www.shoutcast.com/radio/Classical

Do you mean that you like playing the music but not listening to it? If so, that’s also how I feel, which is why I brought Bach, it’s the simplest of great classical piano teaching music.

Could be. That particular one is somewhat helpful for a certain contemplative mindstate — but only if it isn’t at all annoying to listen to in the background.

They say that music is a universal language. But they also say that about mathematics, so some of the classical music with complexly precise and somewhat geometrical and mathematical structures is a language everyone should understand, if that makes any sense.

How about talking in conversations online about classical music? You could try to read some discussions about it here: http://www.talkclassical.com/ Reading words is like listening to music, so those people speak more like classical music.

And, yes, playing your own music is a way to make your own feelings and thoughts more tangible, more real, more easy to observe and interact with. People actually do the same thing with writing here — that’s much more difficult, but typing on a keyboard is just like hitting notes on a piano keyboard, so it can be the same. You can practice a little sentence on a letter-keyboard just like practicing a little melody on a piano-keyboard.

I understand. People actually do get together to play music together. The style that is most like normal conversations is usually called something like “jam bands” — improvisational, like jazz, people say what they want to say and then listen to the next person.

That concept also has been taken online. Sites like soundcloud are all about interacting with each other by sharing music.

Some music people use words and others they just use sounds. When I said “speak” I meant that people play music with instruments. But classic is less like a conversation than jazz, because what I think of classical music is something composed first in private and then played. There are other more real-time conversational styles of music (using sounds, not words), like jazz, or jam bands, where you create it as you play, like a normal conversation.

Yes there is words that we can see in Jazz there are conversation.
there are not words in calssic music but we can feel without words
its more stronger

There are what so-called silent speak silent conversation the
classical music.

I’ve been in bands that played classical music, and I’ve been in bands that played jazz music, and I’ve been in other types of bands. It’s sort of all the same, you get together and play music. It’s a lot like playing games or having conversations. But I haven’t talked about these things much so I don’t have the words for it like other people might.
