I think I might be depressed I cry every day.

I dont know why most of the time I just seem to like being miserable. I quit my job yesterday and felt better for a bu but have been in tears todat mostly caused by people at work. I have never felt so sad and scared and unsure. I meaan there couldnt be a worse time to quit my job there is a recession and there are so many people out of work. Including my boyfriend and we live with his parents and I just dont know where to start with telling them, they will be so upset with me. I just felt like my health and my sanity was suffering. I feel so lost and sad

you are your own person hun, you gotta just let yourself be yourself, not much else can be said, and you see if you are upset because of your job, think of the immortal doctor seuse, “don’t cry because it’s over” he said “smile, because it happened” if it is for any other reason, then just let it out, let yourself cry, no use bottling up that emotion, trust me it doesn’t feel good.

if your job was affecting you that much then YOU MADE THE RIGHT MOVE. you will find another,,, might take some time but you will… as far as depression goes than you need to see a doctor. he can give you some paxil or celexapro which are 4$. i starting taking them about a month ago and it is working wonders.

For what it’s worth, I’ve gone back to three different jobs that I dramatically quit and angered a lot of people by quitting. Each one I ended up quitting in a very similar way, but I did give them second chances.
As far as I remember, crying was associated with most of those “quittings”. but now you’re free to take a really long walk and consider your life from a freer perspective.

If your job wasn’t something you enjoyed, then you were right to wuit. Being depressed is perfectly normal, and you just need to find a new job you enjoy to get over it. Maybe you can see a therapist about it.
