Personally, being a short guy at about 5′3″, i’ve learned to not bother with tall girls.

Not because i have anything against them or because i don’t find them attractive, but from experience, the vast majority of girls seem to want a taller guy, something about the whole caveman protector thing lol.

Having said that, if the oppoturnity ever came up for me to date a tall girl, and i knew she was ok with me being shorter, i’d be happy to do so.

So to answer your question, I don’t think the issue is with guys not liking tall girls, i think the issue is with guys being worried tall girls don’t like them.

THis is an interesting question. I’m tall and big. I’ve had girls want to date me because of that. One girl said she would never date her hero (an amazing sports celebrity) because he wasn’t tall… despite the fact she admired his courage and ability.

It also seems many women want to date taller guys so they can wear high heeled shoes and feel feminine and shorter.

I’ve dated short girls and tall ones. Personally, I prefer tall girls because they match my stride… I can’t imagine how many years I lose in life waiting for short girls to catch up to me! Plus tall girls are more compatible for kissing and other activities.

If you’re open-minded (and the girls I knew weren’t) then what do you have to lose? It’s better to try things out than to agonize over them and wonder what you might have missed.

I’ve dated girls a little bit taller than me. As long as there isn’t a big difference, it doesn’t bother me. It is a little bit strange at first, but not enough for discarding a nice girl just because of her height.

It depends on the guy, but I’m guessing that although the majority would prefer a girl a little bit shorter than them, that is because we aren’t used to be with taller girls. If a guy really likes you, that wouldn’t be an issue, unless you’re 5 inches taller than him.

What does the couple think. someone is the height he/or she is. Personally tall girls are great for short men. worry over height is like wondering if one will be struck by lightning
