He has had his rabies shots and has a tag, but it’s registered in Kane county. Do I have to purchase a new rabies tag for Will or is the one he has okay?

Or contact your vet here in Will County. If you bring in the documentation you only should have to pay the small fee — I believe it is $7 or $8 — for the actual Will County rabies tag, the little thing that goes on your dog’s collar to show that it has had its shots.
