I’m not very much for computers, but have you tried the System Restore function?
F11 does not work on all computers. To find out if it works on yours.
Start or restart your computer. If you get a prompt left top to press F11 then you can reset your computer to its factory settings.
Let me know if you can or not. There is another way to reset your computer.
Start, control panel, performance and maintenance, system or system restore.
Put in reinstall disk

Have you tried to empty windows password. there is a solution for those who has forgotten their password. With no reinstalling, with no the original password, with no data loss, you can reset the password. As following,
1. Login to a computer that can link to Internet. Download Windows Password Unlocker 4.0 at http://www.passwordunlocker.com and decompress it on that PC. Note that: there is a .ISO file. Burn the .ISO file to a CD.
2 Get out the newly created CD and insert it to the locked computer.
3 re-booted the locked computer and then followed the process of instructions. Just a few steps, the old password was removed.'’
‘4 Setting new password:
Step one: Open the “Control Panel”
Step two: Click the “User Account “
Step three: Select the account you wanna to set a new password.
Step four: Click “changing Account ” and “set up password”, then fill out the form as listed. Click “Create Password”.

It sounds to me that your BIOS has lost it’s firmware.
If you backed up your BIOS settings on a floppy, you can reload the BIOS settings this way.
If You have recently Updated your BIOS with a Flash program to update the firmware,
you may have gotten the wrong Bios update.
ive a hp dv2000 it takes me to my login page and then hangs, i tried system restore to previous page, but it says due to some error system restore couldnt complete, pls help
The method that I am about to tell you only has been tested on a dell vostro. It might work on other dells but maybe not.
First you must either restart your computer. A screen that says “DELL” in blue letters should appear and in the top, right-hand corner, the words “F2=SETUP” and “F12=BOOT MENU” should also appear. As soon as they do, press F4. After the next screen comes up, press F8. Then a screen with about 8-10 different choices should appear. the one you want, “Repair you computer” is already highlighted so press Enter. Then you must choose your keyboard layout and click next. Choose the user and password (type no password if the account has none) and then click next. Then click “Dell Factory Image Restore”.
Warning. This is not reversible. Everything will be wiped clean and it will be as if you bought a new computer. So, if you can, back-up your files.
all the time a windows come up and it says explorer has stopped working, then a new window comes up and says “explorer is restarting and its restarts. that happend all the time so i can only go to maps and **** via rocketdock. and my internet doesnt work:(
i dont have a disc!!?!?!?! can someone help me??? thanks
You can use the windows password recovery tool “Any Windows Password Recovery 3.0 ” to help bypass windows password,it need not to reformat and reinstall windows OS,then with no data losing. Its easy.
You could get the windows password recovery tool from the reference link: http://www.anypasswordrecovery.com/do…
If you lost windows password. I think the best solution is making a windows password recovery disk with the third part utility. The disk works perfectly to recover windows password to “Blank”. It is also useful for administrator password recovery, you can wrote it to an blank CD or USB flash drive to recover administrator password. Booting up and clearing a password takes a minute or two works like a charm.

I would like to introduce Windows Password Key 8.0 . it not only supports XP, 2000, and NT, I have personally tested it with Vista Home Premium and Ultimate. It creates a password recovery CD/DVD,USB Flash Drive for home, business and enterprise. It works perfectly to reset your Windows password. You can download it from http://www.lostwindowspassword.com
This sounds pretty interesting. We used a similar software at my tech support job a few years ago. Called “Windows Password Key 8.0″.
It works very prefect to regain your password .Also use boot CD/DVD.
I have download it from this website: http://sn.im/bypasswindowspassword
I think the best way for you is to reset your windows password. The Windows password Recovery Tool 3.0
can solve all your problem within a few minutes. Importantly,No need to call a technician, no need to re-install anything, and you certainly don’t need to reformat. http://www.windowspasswordsrecovery.com/
it also allows you to reset windows password with with USB Flash Drive or cd/dvd Disk now!!
