I got a deep cut on my hand yesterday and right now it is just swolen and looks nasty.

My doctor cant see me until monday. What can I do so it wont get infected until then?

Actually, hydrogen peroxide is actually pretty bad because it kills the cells that help you heal… Just make sure that the cut is clean and put a big enough band aid over it or an old shirt you won’t use anymore (the shirt should be CLEAN).

There is some truth to this but in general is just BS myths out to scare you. I mean really, the peroxide is going to kill what, a hundred or two cells and you’ve got millions. That and you reproduce cells every second. The fact it kills them is true, but it also kills germs and viruses that could put you in the morgue.

Get the wound clean, and slap either a bandaid on it or gaws and then wrap it.

No…. I’m not saying about killing the cells thing. It’s the specific cells that go to help repair the wound. THAT’S why.

Yeah, and since we’ve only got 5 or 10 of em when we pour it on there we’re killing every single one of em right? Thats the logic your using I am assuming. Because we couldn’t possibly kill a few cells, even helpful ones, plus the germs, and yet still be winning in the end.
