Your friends are mostly liars - they haven’t kissed a guy either.
You’re 14. Kissing leads to sex and early pregnacy.
Wait til prom - then kiss often as you like.

Hahaha oohh noo evil kissing! Come on, really??

Kissing is a way too people express their feelings for eachother, if you think about it, no big deal. Your 14 and will have soooo many kisses by the time your old and wrinkly, try not too worry about it, when a nice person comes along and you do kiss, youll realise its not a big deal at all, and a few of your friends could well be making it up, be proud of who you are

Here’s a funny one for you -
My mom told me a story of a young lady she knew back in the 50’s. Mom said she was the biggest w#0r# in school, but never knew it.
“Never knew it????” I said. “how could THAT be?”
She went on to say that, by the time she was of dating age, her parents told her that kissing would get her pregnet. So, while out on a date, the guy she was with went to make a pass at her. Now, bear in mind how thick Coke bottles were - they sure weren’t made of plastic back then. She broke a Coke bottle over his head. She would not kiss him because she didn’t want to get pregnet, so, instead they had. . .major affairs for the rest of the night.
It went for the football team as well - never once did she kiss any of them. . .

But, then, sex is a way *”two”* people express their feeling for each other too.
How easy it is at that point to think it’s no big deal when the clothes fall off.

It’s not that I lack confidence in intelligent people - intelligent people kiss, love, hug, and have sex with each other all the time. So do stupid people. And, apparently, with the ever rising increase of teen pregnecy (13 to 17 specifically), I will lay my money that hormones win, and not the youth at hand.

did you know the leading cause of teen pregnancy is because of a lack of sex education? drives me mad when people try to make contraceptives illegal or say condoms are bad. educate the stupid kids, thats what i say.

Cass. . . I have lived.
The lack of sex ed ended in the 80’s.
Today everybody knows what sex is. The two main things that are known about is:
1. It feels good.
2. It gets you pregnet.
I hear what you’re saying about birth control in general, but consider this. Adults in general, without birth control seem to control birth expectancies because they are now at an age where they can control themselves.
To me, giving kids birth control is like giving them a license to have sex. you can’t put out a fire by pouring gas on it. Kids know that unprotected sex could lead to pregnacy - that’s a fearful thing. Why should we remove their fears when they should simply understand themselves better and wait a few short years when they’re past the apex of hormones?

depends on what you mean by kids. if this 14 year old is the one we’re talking about, yeah, i agree with you.

but if they’re the legal age of consent they have the right and i think its better than they get protection.

planning for the inevitable; we may not like it, but we cant change it. so lets at least prepare for it. you know?

I agree that sexual intimacy between two people should be left to adults and young adults. They have (we have) a right to measures of birth control - good planning usually remedys that, but, whatever. But, as a society that governs law and one that determines when the age of consent should be, we should remain single-faced and not pass out birth control to those we deem too young for sex.

i think most places in north america are 16+, which i think is ok. people do have to learn to be responsible for themselves though… or they have to be prepared for the consequences.

Ofcourse it is. But evidently this is a teenager or yiung person who has posted.they didnt even mention sex! Others did. I agree with sex education but you have to consider now this child if thinking about sex . Abd probably scared to kiss now, which in the world of today, is a perfectly natural, healthy way to grow and the fundamental stages of forming relationships. I hope it has. The shoes of youngsters are set at the foot of life. They seldom know where the opening of a path leads. One thing leads to another - they cannot know how far it can go unless it is brought to their attention. And then you have the nerve to turn and say you agree with sexual education??? Well, just what PART of that are you agreeing with??? Do you agree with the sheer mechanics and dynamics of sexual education or WHAT LEADS UP TO IT. That is the underlying problem in our society today - and to think that someone voted well for what you said reflects the popular misconcetions in a majority of our society.
More on your side dosen’t make it any more the right.

On my side? … I didnt realise this was a game. This person was concerned about their normality and you tell her/him its wrong to kiss at 14 and theyl get pregnant? I dont know what era your from but i assure you its perfectly normal to kiss another perdon from 11, to 14 to 89 if you fancy it, majorty of ppl have their first kiss before say 18 and are all of them tean mums? Even are most of them? No ofcourse not. We are on this site to help people with advice, not too scare them from a perfectly natural part of life. Or to “have sides as you say. 14 is a very delicate age and as you agree there are too many tern parents, im sure they know about sex alrdy from school health ed, so you putting it more in their mind is not what they need, anyway thats enough contact between us, you dont want me getting pregnant now do you :p

You need to pay attention to what is said and distinctive values of intended matter.
I did not say that kissing was wrong. And if you failed to understand the underlying meaning when I said that kissing leads to (first sex and THEN pregnacy), then the failure is yours.
You say that it’s perfectly normal to kiss a person from 11 to 14 to 89, if you fancy it - well that’s all fine and well (if we lived in normal times).

rachxx87 wrote:

*facepalm*
Do not available statistics mean nothing to you? Most? No - but still so many it is undeniable. And you need to stop advocating what the assumptive emotions of another person COULD be. For all we know, she may be kicked back laughing her a$$ off.

I said NOTHING about “sides” - you’re not getting that from me.
