Can my sister go pick up my certified mail from the Post office instead of me?

I googled and saw some people saying they might need to see an ID of the person receiving the mail (me), so can I just give her my ID instead? anyone ever done this?

Maybe yes, if she is living at the same address like you.
Additionally you can give her a written authority which she can show at the post office.
