how to not be embarrassed about my body?

I trust my boyfriend with everything. A couple of days ago, I lost ‘it’ to him. We have a very loving & solid relationship, & he’s very loyal. He always tells me how beautiful I am, yet I’m too embarrassed to do anything with him in the light. It has to be at night with the lights off. He doesn’t pressure me into changing that as he only wants me to be comfortable, but I know he wants to see me. Do you know of any good ideas to help me not to be so nervous in the light?

From what i’ve heard, this is acutally very common, especially for girls, so don’t worry that you’re a freak or anything.

As for fixing it? I’m sure there a moments you are naked in the light, unless you get dressed and bathe in the dark lol.

I don’t know what (if anything) it is about your body that you find embarassing, but clearly your bf doesn’t feel that same. He may not have seen it, but arguably he now knows your body in a more intimate way then he ever could looking at it, and you didn’t say anything went wrong in that respect.
