Morning After Pill Question

I took the morning after pill around 9 hours ago, just spent the last hour curled up on my bathroom floor, puking my guts up.. is that normal? Or have I thrown up the pill and now put at risk to pregnancy? o_o Help please?

That’s normal. Everyone I know that has taken it tends to be extremely nauseous for hours and sometimes days.

The Morning pill is extremely dangerous. It can cause difficulty with fertility down the road and mess up important things in your body.

If you are sexually active, it’s important that you start taking some method of birth control. OR, using condoms. There is NO EXCUSE.

I am very familiar with the morning after pill…(that sounds bad…)

Did you take Plan B or Next Choice? (Plan B is the more expensive one. next Choice is about 43 US dollars.)

one of the many side affects of the pill is vomiting, plus cramps, headaches, etc. I would assume that if your body is reacting that strongly the chemicals have desolved and are working their way through your system. I guess the only way to be sure is to wait and see but DO NOT TAKE ANOTHER BOX!!! You Do not want to overdose!!!!

I have never had any problems with emergency contraception pills other than light dizziness and a little bleeding (which is normal). It is your uterine wall shedding tissue. I also know many women that have used the morning after pill and gone on to have perfectly happy healthy children.

How long after you took the pill did you get sick?

I have heard this happening. Should pass in 2 days. I don’t think you threw up the pill cause it’s been 9 hours.

i’ve taken the morning after pill on a couple of occasions. i’ve never had any side effects, but then again, i’m pretty sure nausea and vomiting are listed as possible side effects. i don’t think you could have thrown up the pill after 9 hours.
