Have a goal.. I literally cannot motivate myself unless I set a goal.
I’ve had a realization about life recently.. It’s that life is short and life is about being happy, making others happy, and improving yourself and the world.
Try doing more things that you like. It’s hard to compare yourself to people who seem “motivated” because the reality is that people who succeed are usually doing something that they are passionate about.
Do things you love or find a way to incorporate something you love into the boring daily crap that you may have to do.

I think the problem through and try to be realistic. Then i try to cheer myself up.
i think that you should include other people, ask your friends or family to help you enforce the things that you plan to do, it often helps to have someone encourage and push you

I completely understand.
To motivate myself to study I researched what type of things I wanted to do AFTER my studies. I found a COOL university in France and now I’m applying after I finish my studies. Now I have a focus for what I want to do in school and ultimately I know where I want to end up.
Laundry sucks.. I had to find a laundry buddy (my roommate and I habitually do laundry together now…)
As far as exercise, I went out on a limb and joined a sports team. I made friends with my team mates and they help motivate me to work out and be the best that I can be.
The best thing that you can do for yourself is to start taking risks. Put all of your effort into achieving a goal.
Start with a small goal, maybe doing your laundry and going for a short jog one day. Build on that the next day or the day after. Start small with one goal at a time but make sure that your goals are at least pushing you a little bit.
Once you get the feeling of accomplishment that comes with achieving a goal, you’ll get addicted and want to do more things. Promise. All you need to do to start is pick one small goal and stick with it until you complete it and get your feeling of accomplishment.
