AAAH I have these really important exams in a month and I know I should be studying, but I still end up wasting so much time daydreaming/online/etc.

I dunno what to do. Can you tell me some effective time management measures that work??

Make a plan and stick to it. For example, tell yourself to study one chapter in one hour/day/whatever time period seems feasible to you, and if you go over stop. Then go to the next goal you set yourself. No point in wasting all your time on one chapter and not looking at anything else.

Do not turn on your computer (unless you need it for studying), apart from a designated time in which you take a scheduled break to check your e-mails etc.

Remove anything that you know will distract you, e.g. your smartphone, etc. Most things can wait for a few hours, so you can put that phone away for a while.

Do not study in a room with a television.

Take regular breaks to make yourself a drink, or to prepare a meal.

Do not study longer than two hours in a row without taking a break. Any break. Bathroom break counts too. Studying too long tends to dull your mind (it does for me anyway).

Get off help.com!!!

Good luck ;)

Don’t study at home. When you do your subconscious wants to goof off, but if your somewhere else it knows your not able to and it’s a little easier to focus.
