Have you had a babysitter within the past couple of weeks?

If she has not suffered any trauma of any kind, especially in the bedroom, is she running a fever or appear to be teething? If not, perhaps you might want to take her to the doctor so he can check her out. It is so difficult at that age because they can’t tell you what is wrong.

no injury and this is all day long with being fussy. she use to be happy for the most part and at about 8 at night she would come say nite-nite and i would lay her down and walk out of the room but now its like 10 or later before she goes to bed and it is still a fight even at that time. she is not teething and not sick. anyway i will take her to the doctor and see what they say. thanks

Has she seen something in life, television, or the newspaper that would have frightened her? It kind of sounds like she’s scared of something. If its the infamous “monsters under the bed”, I just put a banana in a paper bag, saying that monsters favorite foods are bananas, then put that under the bed, wait a few seconds, and then say “gotcha!” and grab the paper bag and put it promptly in the garbage outside, saying the monster can’t come back, ever. It’s worked every time for me. = )
