I am feeling very despondent about our household situation

working out, two members keep doing damage to the walls, furniture, even the car by chipping away at things, poking holes, scratching. Then they deny what they did, no one admits a thing, yet the damage keeps occuring. I have told them to stop, I am close to evicting them and I feel very sad that they are not choosing better choices.

If you are absolutely positive that they’re doing it and if you do not require evidence of it in order to evict them, then just evict them. They are costing you more in the long-run, the longer they stick around.
