hope help: You must surrender all hope to avoid being a victim. - Help.com

You must surrender all hope to avoid being a victim.

Trust absolutely no one, assume the worst of everyone, and view this existence as nothing but an exercise in futility and misery. If you don’t believe me now you’ll certainly wish you did later.

This is one of the silliest things I’ve ever heard. You have made yourself into the ultimate victim by believing this. You have given up happiness, one of the only real reasons to live, in order to make sure that you are never a victim because being a victim makes you unhappy? Well you know what else generally makes people unhappy, giving up all hope and happiness.

No.

There are much less ridiculous ways to stop being a victim.
In fact sounds like you’re making yourself a victim. By telling yourself you’re a victim of some cruel impossible world and that that’s the only way to live.

But is pessimism really so enjoyable? I like to try to hover between pessimism and optimism. Its a bit spontaneous but i dont want to be full of dreadful breath. Ive had enough of letting things drag me down.

The world is not a cruel and horrible place and the only way you are going to stop feeling like a victim is by allowing yourself to realise that.
Yes there is pain in the world and that is difficult to deal with. But it’s not all bad. And cutting yourself off rather than saving you from pain is sentencing yourself to a life time of it.
