Anybody got a good location for a story?

I’m looking for a place with lots of history, and a rich culture. Also, it needs a lot of intrigue and interesting events.I’m not exactly a historian, so i’m just asking around for more influences. If anybody has an idea for a time period and/or location that is interesting, go right ahead and comment. Many thanks :)

personally, i’ve always been interested in the roman/greek history and also on WW2. but then again, what kinda of history or heritage that you’re looking for? is there any geographic limitation?

Roman/ Greek history is quite interesting, as is Ww2. The type of history I’m looking for is one that involves a good deal of discoveries, but also several big battles/conflicts. The heritage I’m looking for is sort of European or Asia as they have a lot of history, and interesting cultures.

yeah, Asia has quite an amount of history not to mention conflicts, battles and legends. hey till this day a lot of people in Asia are still superstitious. I tell you what, you can make a history about Malaysia and Indonesia. They both hate each other guts with Indonesia claiming that Malaysia rips off a lot of things from them (and many more}. But if you look at history, Malaysian (Malays specifically), originated from Indonesia (technically so to speak).

Ooh Indonesia and Malaysia? they do seem quite interesting places. Might have to do a bit of brushing up on the history of the places first though, but none the less, it’s quite a good location. Thanks for that mate :)
