Visa for Cuba?
We’re planning on going in 2 weeks, i know we need a visa, but how do we get it?
There isn’t time to send out passports away.
Some sites say the travel company will send them, but there prob isn’t time for that.
Others say we’ll get them on the plane.
But we’ve read that you have to have it before you go.
It all seems a bit confusing, does anyone know more about this?

Two weeks is not enough time. You need to have your visa before you go. You won’t get that as a form on the flight there. Sorry.

Heya Biggy, how goes it?
I’ve heard you can buy them off the internet.
It’s too late to ring the embassy or travel agents now, but we’ll call in the morning to see if there’s any way.

I truly hope you get your birthday wish J. Just to be sure, I suggest making a back up destination.
Did you have some place else in mind?
I don’t know… Maybe this will help. :|
HA HA.. sux to live in the USA!! Cuba is sooo close to them yet.. so far, unless they wanna have a stay in sunny Guantanamo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYf4kq…
I left a link on your other post about travel requirements for Cuba… it says you have to get different Visas depending upon your reason to go. You need a tourist visa and I think you are supposed to contact the Cuban Embassy in London to get it?
Yeah Cuba is what? 60 miles away? So near and yet so far. Actually Obama has loosened the regulations and there is some sort of education exchange you can sign up for and go to Cuba legally from the US now. Limited time offer. You will be followed and watched at all times.
If I remember correctly, the US sends certain doctors to Cuba to learn how to practice medicine without fancy (expensive) machines. Good in war zones and when offering foreign aid in disaster zones.
