If I take all the pills in my medicine cabinet would it kill me?

there really aren’t any strong dosage pills.. Just some ibuprofen, stuff to help a migraine, and some Bayer aspirin and sleep meds. is there anything specific that I can take or..?

Ive been reading about overdoses and there seems to be two answers. Some people believe that it will kill you, but most say that you will just wake up in the hospital and have your stomach pumped. So if overdosing does work, how long does it take? and if not, what are some alternative solutions?

notice how there is no “this is why I’m going to do it” ? I am not asking you to give me reasons not to do it. I would rather not be told the inspirational crap, only some answers I cannot seem to find..

I know you’re not supposed to ask this on help.com, but well I’ve asked everywhere else, so why not. maybe someone will actually be helpful.

Overdosing is very hard with aspirin and most over the counter crap. You will just end up with a great big hospital bill and you will have screwed your body up. You are not asking for a reason not to do it but that is all you are going to get.

I bet you are young. I thought about killing myself once when I was in grade school and then again a few times in high school. I am glad I didn’t.

Yes . . . most would-be suicides using OTC medicines end up brain dead but with their hearts still pumping and their lungs still breathing.

Believe me, there are better alternatives.

And once you stop judging yourself by the skewed standards of this world, you will get an entirely new perspective on things.

Almost anything will kill you if you aren’t devoting most of your effort to staying alive. There’s only a tiny set of specific circumstances that will allow continued survival, such as maintaining a body temperature within a couple of degrees, getting food almost every day, breathing all day long, obeying the signs of civilization when you go out, and many more. It is a tricky balancing act, but there is a possibility and chance of surviving a while longer. The chance of understanding anything about life is obviously much less, so I’m glad to help by sharing something that I know about living and surviving.

Drug abuse can cause years of misery, it commonly does, so that is worth avoiding.
