Starter Electronic Keyboard recommendations.

im looking into to getting an electronic keyboard. something that i can start on and keep playing for years on. i got a price range of course, trying to keep as cheap as possible yet durable and effective. i really would like one that could connect to a computer and have some type of software. ive been trying to look online but im just really confused about it. what do you guys think?
