depends, really…
If it really IS strep, the only thing that will work is seeing your doctor and getting some antibiotics to fight the bacterial infection…
If if is a mere allergy type sore throat, or just DRY throat, yes the best bet IS the green tea…
In either case, simple chicken soup is always a huge help.
But if you are concerned about strep throat, please see a doctor.
You surely don’t want for strep throat to turn into something much worse…:O

If its strep throat…doc and antibiotics…
also…for any sore throats…get some real lemons…squeeze the juice of one lemon into a glasss…add a teaspoon or two of honey and then fill the glass with hot water…add some sugar too if its still too bitter…its basically a lemsip but with more natural ingredients and without the paracetemol! its very good for u tho!

this is nasty BUT gargle with salt water for 10 min, you will notice an immediate difference. Then have some honey lemon tea…the honey with help soothe the throat…continue drinking tea throughout the day as well

I’ve heard Theraflu is a good remedy fore sore throat. I cannot say that I have ever tried it, though, so I cannot vouch for its effectiveness.
