I really need advice from the ladies.

Well, desperate times, desperate measures - is it possible to hide bruises and a small cut on my face with some make up (though I don’t want people to realize that I’ wearing any)? If so, what do I need to get? I have read about some concealers but would that work on this type of thing? The cut isn’t deep but it’s a bit wide, bruises are fresh but there isn’t too many of them.
Help?

I had a little accident. No big deal, though I really wouldn’t want people I’m meeting soon to see my slightly ruined face.

honestly, i’m afraid we’d be helping you cover up an abusive relationship. maybe that sounds irrational, but that’s the first thing that came to mind.

It’s nothing like that! Really, no need to worry about it. Besides, I’m not some damsel in distress that needs protection (in case you thought I’m a girl, I’m actually a guy) :)
I just need advice on how to cover up those bruises, it’s really important.

Not necessarily, I guess. Sometimes you can’t even tell a girl is wearing make up (of course if she doesn’t use too much of it).
And I’m afraid that my boss will just kick me out when he sees me looking like that.

Well, personally, I think that sometimes it’s really difficult to notice if they don’t use eyeshadows and stuff but maybe that’s just me, haha.

Ok, I was arguing with someone and they got mad at me. And I don’t really wanna answer the second question.

Go into a shoppers or anywhere there is a makeup professional to help you, the right product will just blend your skin so it looks even. But i agree, you probably should stay away from covering it up… maybe come up with an explanation for the bruises that doesnt embarrass you, like you fell down walking a dog or something ( an it was a really big dog lol).

It’s not that he would care how I got the bruises in the first place. But the fact that they made me look ugly. Anyway, thanks for advice.
I called my female friend over and she helped me out. You can still see it a bit but it’s not nearly as bad as it was.
