friends help: I joined match.com for the first time about two week ago. - Help.com

I joined match.com for the first time about two week ago.

I started emailing with a guy via the site. We got into a few in depth conversations and seemed to really start clicking. In his profile, he had stated that he was not looking for a serious relationship (we are both in our late 20’s), but that he is open to meeting the right woman. We had several back and fourth emails about this that were very interesting and eye opening…our thoughts on relationships, where we are in life etc. Something else to point out is that he lives about 2 hours away from where I live, but he will be moving here in a few weeks. On my profile, I have only picture and so does he. When he finally asked for my email address so we could take things off match.com, he found out my last name (it is in my email) and facebooked me. After face-booking me, I have not heard from him even though i was the last one to write him. I noticed we have several friends in common, and he is very attractive.
It’s been five days now and he has not written back (he read the message about two days ago). He changed his profile stating that he is ready to meet to the person he is going to end up with forever and ready for a family and kids. Many of the things he added into his profile are things he said to me and came out after writing back and fourth.
I’m confused. Do you think he saw more pictures of me and is now just not attracted?

It all sounds very suspicious, VERY. I’d mvoe forward with extreme caution.

He wasn’t too busy to go online, read it, change his entire profile…

there could be a million reasons why he hasn’t replied. i mean, you know nothing about this man except what you managed to share in a couple weeks. give it another week.

Dating sites are not a good way to find anyone serious.
