Guys, do you think it will be worth it if I make the move or not?
Well, there is a guy who has been hurt in the past and I guess he has a fear of rejection now and stuff so it is taking a while for him to progress any moves or so with me. I say this because when we are near each other I always feel this vibe of attraction between us. I was wondering on asking him to hang out one day as friends I guess…but the only problem is that I am unaware of how he is feeling for me to do so. He seems to hold back a lot and when he ever comes around it feels as if I have to be the one to sometimes wave and say hello to him for him to finally say something, or else he will just rush out and leave fast nervously. Some more information on the situation is that if we ever do catch eye contact between us he always stares and smiles at me. There was a time he came by me and said “turn that frown upside down” in a playful way which was weird because I wasn’t even frowning. Then afterwards when I asked him what he was up to he said “every time I come in here I cause a scene and I give you a hard time ;)” it had nothing to do with anything I asked him and it just plain out made me think he has a really hard time talking to a girl. Then I told him I liked his eyes and he playfully made this weird funny looking face. I asked someone else what this even means and they told me he is attracted to me but feels intimidated at the same time and doesn’t know what to say, especially since he has been hurt in the past. Is that true? My instincts tell me he is maybe trying to get to know me a little or something, will he eventually ask me out one day or something or do I have to do the moves? I’m really confused. When I told him I like his eyes does he assume in any way possible that I am attracted to him or does he feel unsure…if a girl told you they liked your eyes would you think she likes you? I think he is a really nice guy and I would at least love to be friends with him if nothing really ends up happening anyway, its just the doubt of asking him to hangout or something is what I feel sort of scared to do…I’m scared of what he will think. What do you guys think? Should I, should I not and what would you think if a girl did that to you?
