I’m celebrating! My hair has reached knee length! I still have a l-o-n-g way to grow to reach my ankle, but I’m about 2/3 of the way!
Grab a glass of wine, and join me!

If you really want to celebrate, sell/donate some of your beautiful hair to wig companies. Women who have lost all their hair will thank you. I was married to one before she died. Natural hair wigs made a huge difference to her self-confidence.

Akithma…no, it is the hair on my head, and it is reddish brown. I’m proud of it reaching this length because last April I was burning weeds, and a sudden gust of wind blew the flames into my face and burned off a huge amount of it. It’s not very pretty still -has huge chunks missing, and is overall kind of raggedy, but I did not have to cut it off, and that is a victory. :D
Right now I only wear it bunned up every day, so that it is protected and will continue to grow.
Jalex, I promised free wine. But I have no cake. :( Maybe you could make us one?
Linuxya, thanks for the suggestion, but at this time I have no plans to cut my hair.

I drank my glass of wine an hour ago, I think I have some left, lol
if yout hair is that long. when/if you decide to cut it you should sell it to a hair extension maker/wig maker. my friend sold her hair that was bottom length to shoulder length and got £200!

Why does it please anyone to meet any goal? I’ve been patient, and I’ve worked hard and I’ve suffered a lot of setbacks. I have a long way to go, but I know if I keep it up I’ll make it someday.
What is not to be pleased about?
Oh, as far as I’m concerned there’s certainly nothing “not to be pleased about.” We all have our goals and we’re entitled to them! (Er, unless our goal is something like “rob a bank” or “punt a squirrel.”)
I guess it just interests me how a goal becomes a goal for someone. What to you (all that counts) is “goal-worthy” about it?
Of course, there’s no reason at all my “interest” should matter to you. Just describe it if you’re comfortable and feel like it’s worth your time. :-)

It takes the same amount of shampoo to wash now as it did at shoulder lenght. It takes about two hours to air dry.
I’m sure her hair was lovely. :)
Congras :o I’ve been trying to grow my hair for two years now. It’s still medium, it stops at my shoulders. Some tips please?
