Hmmm, perhaps I wasn’t clear in my question . . . I wanted to see my iPhone 3gs directory structure and copy files to and from my PC directly to the iPhone directory that I choose

Oops. Somehow got caught in a Google workgroup and started get a few hundred emails a day. When I got back from vacation, I had over 30,000 emails to sift through.

Anyway, thanks for the help. The site confirmed that I needed to jailbreak my phone and also gave me an idea of the inner workings of Apple
