i dont know what i can do

i had a good job

i have been working for walmart for 3 year iv’e been promoted 3 time’s i was a zone supervisor, i was up for another promotion to asset protection manager they ran another background check and my felony showed up and they fired me last friday, i thought my felony was sealed because they run a background check when your first hired. i just asking if anyone knows what i can do to try an get my job back, i like my job and i havent missed a day in a year and half always worked hard never had any trouble. i just dont see how they can fire me after everything ive done for the company and for somthing thats in my past almost 8 years ago and they hired me with it, please help

if they knew about it you could do something but if u hid it and they just found out you are probably SOL

You can try getting your criminal records expunged. It’s not cheap and it might not always work but that is the only option you have. That way when another employer runs another background check on you those records won’t come up. Good luck!
