Seriously, I agree with you. I suppose the best help is the sort given by Zirbel - links to ‘homework help’ sites. Some students aren’t very good at finding resources so they can help themselves.

Hey MsSkittles! :) How are you, my friend? Needing guidance with homework is a legitimate request for help, too. And, just as important as any other sort if you’re stuck with something.

I think it’s not so helpful though if you’re using it as a way for others to do your work for you. That’s equivalent to cheating in my book (I know….I’m mean!). Other questions just feel strange. Like when you ask us to give our thoughts and opinions and it’s all a part of a homework question….well…how can we possibly answer for you? It’s hurtful to even try because it’s robbing you of the opportunity to learn how to think for yourself and form your own opinions.

We’re happy to give resources so you can find answers. :) It’s good to do your own work and give your own opinions so you’ll be ready when similar questions appear on an exam that’s really important in the scheme of things.

I happen to know that you’re extremely bright and capable. ;)

i can definitely sympathize with your rant. i’m not working my butt off to complete my bachelor’s degree to just give out answers to kids too lazy to use google. with the internet at your fingertips, there’s no excuse.

this is also kind of how i feel when computer-illiterate people ask me for help with basic stuff. it’s not like i read the manual or studied computer processing or anything. i just fiddled around and maybe googled some stuff. you really can’t be bothered to try to solve your own problems? :P
