Could I have poison Ivy?

I went on a brief nature walk a few hours ago. For the next hour or so, the bottom half of both my legs with a bit irritant, but there were no visible signs. No redness or anything. After I took a shower 30 minutes ago, the irritation went away. Is it possible for the symptoms to come back?

If you get poison ivy, you’ll know it. The reactions often vary between people (some don’t even get a reaction at all), but this doesn’t sound like poison ivy. Poison ivy will generally be very noticeable. It often itches, burns, and generally causes lots of redness and maybe even red bumps and blisters. You probably just got some spores or pollen on your legs that caused you to get a bit of a reaction. I get the same thing when I mow the lawn or wrestle in the yard, because I’m allergic to grass, so probably some tiny, maybe even microscopic particles got on your legs, and washed off when you took a shower.
