computer MADNESS: music wont play and videos cut out

i was using my computer, everything was working fine, unplugged my monitor for about 20 minutes, plugged it back in, now wont let me play music videos, like it will play for 11 seconds and it will stop. if i click on the time bar in a different area, it will play again but will only play for another 11 seconds. not only that, but i have no sound! i have USB speakers, my input and output and headphone jacks wont work either, i am very frustrated and aggravated and want to hit things haha, i cant live without music! HELP!

Put it in your car and take it back. When the store refuses to refund your money take it home and plug it back in. It will mysteriously work again. It happened to me… bad monitor. Go sit in the corner until you work again or I will crush you like a cockroach.
