wisdom teeth help?

!
Okay, I’m not allowed to do anything about my wisdom teeth until they are a certain way through, then I have to go & have them surgically cut out (as told by my dentist & doctor). The only thing is, one wisdom tooth on the bottom has started to break through the gum, & it’s rubbing really badly against the side of my cheek & causing a massive sore to appear. Eating has become really uncomfortable. Any idea what I can do until the time comes for me to have it removed?

Help.com is censoring my commit because it had a four letter word that started in s and ended in k.

I said that you should use an ice cube…and use air pressure in your mouth on it…that will numb it and ease the swelling maybe.
