Concert or clothes?

So…my favourite band, Evanescence, is coming to Greece. I missed the previous concert which was like 5 years ago. Back then, I was 14 and none of my friends would come with me, so my parents didn’t let me go. I remember I cried a lot the day of the concert.

Now, I’m just really excited. But I don’t see any of my friends going with me again…I really want to go…Don’t know if my parents will let me..

The ticket is like 35 euro, and i now have 37. I was saving to buy clothes.
What do i do? What would you do?

I almost always choose experiences/adventures over material goods (unless of course those material goods are necessary for my life/survival/work). You never know what will happen, and you will be much more likely to look back on your life and think “wow, what a wonderful concert that was,” than “wow, what a great pair of jeans that was”.

Do you have a regular source of income? You can always save back up to get clothes later, this sounds like a limited time event that you will really enjoy.

Good luck! And wow, I’m so jealous that you live in Greece - I’ve always wanted to travel there!

Honestly I’d do the concert. It’s a memory of a life time
I saw Jesus Christ Superstar, row 12 from the stage
Ted Neely was so HOT when the movie first came out.’
Just a couple years ago it was playing near me,
I went and saw him & waited 2 hours after to meet him
He signed my program & hugged me,
even when i let go he was still hugging me
It is something I will never forget

I suggest the concert! It may be a sign that they’re back after you missed them the first time. :) There will always be more clothes to buy later on, but there might not be another concert.

Go to the concert. I just went to see a band that was hot when I was a kid and it cost me $115 for a ticket and more for the hotel room! Go to yard sales and buy clothes for fitty cent…
